Chainsaws, Slasher Treats & a Dining Pass of Doom
The fog is rolling in, the chainsaws are revving, and Universal Studios Hollywood has just dropped its final Halloween Horror Nights 2025 announcements—and they’re bloody good. With a brand-new horror anime short film, an all-you-can-scream dining pass, and a menu of monstrously indulgent eats, this year’s event is shaping up to be the wildest yet. The scares kick off September 4 and run select nights through November 2.
Chainsaw Man Takes Over Hollywood
For the first time ever, Chainsaw Man is coming to life in the U.S. with an exclusive anime short film, Chainsaw Man: The Chaos, playing only at Universal Studios Hollywood’s DreamWorks Theatre during Horror Nights. Imported straight from Universal Studios Japan, the film follows Denji and the Devil Hunters as they take on the Halloween Horror Nights Devil and his zombie army. Expect mayhem, blood, and a chainsaw showdown that dares guests to survive.
Frights You Can Feast On
Executive Chef Julia Thrash has conjured up a horror-inspired menu that’s as creative as the haunted houses themselves. Highlights include:
-
Loaded Cram Fries (crispy chili-glazed spam over fries)
-
Roasted Radroach Legs (blackened turkey wings)
-
Jason Universe Mask S’more (a gooey campfire treat with a blood splatter finish)
-
CHEETOS® FLAMIN’ HOT® Fire Dog (a 22” monster hot dog in a fiery bun)
-
Art’s Bloody Masterpiece Donut (a raspberry-filled vanilla donut straight from Terrifier)
And because no scare fest is complete without a sinister sip, themed cocktails like Mommy’s Special Margarita, The Danse of the Dead, and Playtime’s Over are ready to fuel late-night screams.
A Dining Pass for the Brave
This year introduces the first-ever Halloween Horror Nights Dining Pass, letting guests devour six food and beverage items—including entrées, sides, desserts, and drinks—for one flat price. Think of it as your ticket to taste-testing your way through the apocalypse.
The Haunted Lineup
Beyond the food frights, HHN 2025 features eight haunted houses, terrifying scare zones, and the infamous Terror Tram. Expect to encounter:
-
Fallout’s post-apocalyptic wasteland
-
The creepy animatronic chaos of Five Nights at Freddy’s
-
The nightmare world of Terrifier and Art the Clown
-
Jason Universe slashing his way through Camp Crystal Lake
-
Poltergeist, Scarecrow: Music by SLASH, Monstruos 3, and more
Plus, new scare zones like Chainsaw Clownz and Carnival of Carnage will keep you screaming between houses.
