The Beverly Hills Hotel is preparing to introduce a new chapter in its history with a collection of dining and entertainment spaces designed to bring a fresh social experience to the iconic Los Angeles landmark.
Expected to debut later this year, the additions represent the hotel’s most significant expansion since architect Paul Revere Williams designed the Crescent Wing in 1949. Known as the “Pink Palace,” the hotel will work with renowned American designer Ken Fulk to create spaces that celebrate its Hollywood heritage while embracing the modern Los Angeles lifestyle.
The first new destination will be The Supper Club, located just off the lobby beyond the hotel’s famous red-carpet entrance. Inspired by the glamorous supper clubs of a bygone era, the intimate venue will seat 94 guests and feature live entertainment, fine dining and an atmosphere designed for socializing.
Chef Mattia Agazzi, formerly head chef of Gucci Osteria Beverly Hills, will lead the culinary program. His menu will combine Italian influences with California’s seasonal ingredients, featuring coastal seafood, savory meats and handmade artisan pasta.
Music will play an equally important role. Alex Le Roux of ALR Music will curate live entertainment spanning generations and genres, with artists ranging from Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin to Sabrina Carpenter and Drake serving as inspiration for the program.
Fulk’s design will feature plush banquettes arranged around a stage, creating an intimate setting for both dining and performances. A custom ceiling mural by artist Caroline Lizarraga will depict the night sky above Beverly Hills on May 12, 1912, the evening the hotel opened, incorporating a piece of the property’s history into the new space.
The Supper Club is the first of several planned additions. The hotel also intends to introduce a cocktail bar with an outdoor veranda overlooking the Los Angeles skyline, an indoor-outdoor lobby lounge offering locally sourced food, coffee and afternoon tea, and evening cocktails and elevated bites. A screening room and private dining room will complete the collection.
The new venues will complement the hotel’s existing dining destinations, including the legendary Polo Lounge, Fountain Coffee Room and Cabana Cafe, all of which will remain unchanged.
According to General Manager John Scanlon, the expansion reflects conversations with the hotel’s guests, neighbors and friends over the past decade, with the goal of creating more opportunities for people to gather while preserving the property’s distinctive character.
With its combination of live entertainment, contemporary cuisine and design inspired by Hollywood’s golden age, The Supper Club aims to become a new gathering place for Los Angeles’ creative community, bringing together artists, musicians, filmmakers and business leaders under one roof.
