According to CNN and The Sunday Times, “Harry Potter” creator J.K. Rowling published her latest novel “The Cuckoo’s Calling” under the name Robert Galbraith. Her publisher, Mulholland Books went so far as to write a fictionalized biography for the author, describing Galbraith as a former member of the Special Investigative Branch of the Royal Military Police.
Now that the secret is out, sales of the book have skyrocketed. On Amazon.com, sales grew more than 507,000% after Rowling came out as being the author.
