COVID-19: What’s Cancelled/Postponed? Concerts, Conferences & Events

EVENTS, ATTRACTIONS & CONCERTS:

Josh Groban's Great Big Radio City Show, scheduled to take place at Radio City Music Hall on Saturday, April 18, 2020 has been postponed to Monday, October 5, 2020. Tickets for the April 18 show will be valid for the performance on October 5. 


All Los Angeles Philharmonic Concerts at Walt Disney Concert Hall Canceled Until May 10, 2020


The Festival de Cannes cannot be held on the scheduled dates, from May 12 to 23. Several options are considered in order to preserve its running, the main one being a simple postponement, in Cannes, until the end of June-beginning of July, 2020.


2020 MET GALA postponed – normally 1st Monday in May 


Kentucky Derby to be postponed


"KELLY CLARKSON: INVINCIBLE" will be postponing its opening to July 29, 2020 at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino out of an abundance of caution.


Broadway theatres will go dark starting at 5PM on March 12 until April 13. CANCELLED


SXSW conference and festival are cancelled


Ultra Music Festival in Miami has been cancelled


Beyond Wonderland SoCal has been postponed from March 20-21 to June 19-20


Coachella will be postponed from the original dates of Apri 10-12 & April 17-19, 2020 to October 9-11 & October 16-18, 2020


The 2020 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is being postponed to a future date. The Ceremony was scheduled to be broadcast live for the first time on HBO on May 2nd at 8 p.m. ET at Cleveland's Public Hall. POSTPONED to November.


The California Department of Public Health issued a mandate that all public gatherings, including concerts and presentations at Walt Disney Concert Hall, should be canceled through March 31, 2020 to protect public health and slow the rate of transmission of the coronavirus (COVID-19).  CANCELLED


Center Theatre Group cancels all performances of The Book of MormonThe Antipodes, and Block Party at the Ahmanson Theatre, Mark Taper Forum, and Kirk Douglas Theatre to help lessen the spread of the virus. CANCELLED


NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS seasons suspended until further notice.


Performances of HAMILTON at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre will be suspended beginning Thursday, March 12th through Tuesday, March 31st


The Petersen Museum will close starting March 15 following recommendations from the CDC and Los Angeles County until March 31st. 


Los Angeles Zoo will close to the public, effective Friday, March 13 through March 31, 2020.


Montclair Easter Breakfast on Saturday March 21st from 1 – 3 p.m. CANCELLED


Comic-Con in San Diego said: We continue to work closely with officials in San Diego and at this time no decision has been made regarding the rescheduling of Comic-Con slated to take place this summer; July 23-26, 2020. TBD


Disneyland and Disney California Adventures will be closed beginning March 14 through the end of the month.


The 12th edition of DTLA Film Festival, has announced that it will postpone its 12th edition until further notice. 


FITNESS EVENTS

Spartan Race have suspended all scheduled events over the next 30 days. The majority of these events will be postponed until later in the season, with dates to be announced in the coming weeks. They are offering free deferrals for anyone who has registered, or registers for a 2020 US Spartan Race®, Spartan Kids®, Spartan Trail™ or DEKAFIT™ event. 


Herbalife Triathlon / H24 Tri moved their Los Angeles race from May to October 25

 


The 2020 VALENCIA Trail Race will postpone from the March 28th date to now take place on May 30th, 2020.


2020 Silver Moon Race postponed from the April 11-12 date to October 31-November 1, 2020.


MOVIE RELEASES: 

Film releases are on hold until further notice

Universal Pictures has moved the FAST & FURIOUS 9 Saga release date to April 2021. POSTPONED


Mission Impossible set to shoot in Italy has been delayed until further notice.
