It’s a busy few weeks across television and streaming, with Netflix renewing “Tires,” HBO Max adding weekly episodes of “The Howard Stern Show,” Hulu ordering a second season of “Furious,” Kevin Hart returning with new “Cold As Balls” episodes, and Disney+ and ESPN teaming with Red Bull for a new live motorsport event.
Netflix Renews “Tires” For Season 4
Netflix has renewed “Tires” for a fourth season following the comedy’s growing audience during its third outing.
Season three reached No. 5 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 English TV list for the week of August 17, 2026, marking the series’ highest ranking to date.
“It’s cool to get to make another season of Tires,” said star, co-creator and co-writer Shane Gillis.
Co-creator, director and executive producer John McKeever added, “I love this show and everyone who works on it. Excited to make more.”
“Tires continues to deliver the unapologetic comedy and authentic point of view Shane, John and Steve’s fans know and love, and Season 3 hitting its highest-ever Top 10 ranking proves this fandom just keeps growing,” said Tracey Pakosta, Netflix Vice President of US Comedy. “We love working with this team and can’t wait to see what’s next for the Valley Forge crew in Season 4.”
Since debuting in 2024, the first three seasons of “Tires” have accumulated more than 45 million views. Season one recorded 24.5 million views between its May 23, 2024 release and June 30, 2026, while season two reached 15.9 million views between June 5, 2025 and June 30, 2026.
The series stars Gillis alongside Steve Gerben, Chris O’Connor, Kilah Fox, Stavros Halkias and Thomas Haden Church. The third season also featured guest stars including Andrew Schulz, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Billy Magnussen, Bobby Lee, Dan Soder, Rachel Blanchard, Garret Dillahunt and Matt Walsh.
“Tires” follows Will, played by Gerben, the nervous and unqualified heir to an auto repair chain who attempts to turn his father’s business around while dealing with his cousin and employee Shane, played by Gillis.
All three seasons have been filmed in Pennsylvania, where the production has worked with more than 250 local vendors and businesses across West Chester, Philadelphia, Phoenixville, Oaks, Frazer and Glenside.
Earlier this year, Gillis and McKeever announced an exclusive creative partnership with Netflix to develop new television shows and films. Gillis is also set to film two additional stand-up specials for the streamer.
His 2023 Netflix special, “Shane Gillis: Beautiful Dogs,” has accumulated nearly 30 million views. Gillis recently set two Guinness World Records with his Lincoln Financial Field comedy show, including the record for most tickets sold for a comedy show by a solo comedian, with 77,047 tickets, and largest audience for a solo comedian, with 73,946 attendees.
“The Howard Stern Show” Is Coming To HBO Max
HBO Max has partnered with The Howard Stern Production Company, Inc. and SiriusXM to bring weekly filmed episodes of “The Howard Stern Show” to streaming audiences.
The series will debut globally on HBO Max on Thursday, September 17 at 12:01 a.m. PT/3:01 a.m. ET, followed by new episodes every Thursday.
Each week, Stern’s SiriusXM program will be adapted into a streamable episode specifically for HBO Max.
The series is executive produced by The Howard Stern Production Company, Inc.
Hulu Renews “Furious” For Season 2
Hulu has renewed its original drama “Furious” for a second season following growing viewership during its freshman run.
According to Hulu, views for episode seven increased 40 percent compared with the premiere based on one-day viewing figures.
The series debuted Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a 100 percent score on launch day and has maintained a 98 percent rating.
Created and executive produced by Elizabeth Meriwether, “Furious” stars Emmy Rossum as FBI agent Alice Black, who is hunting a mysterious and calculating female serial killer played by Lola Petticrew. As the two women pursue their own ideas of justice, their lives begin to intersect and the distinction between right and wrong becomes increasingly complicated.
Season one is now streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the U.S. and on Disney+ internationally. The season finale premiered Monday, August 31.
Kevin Hart Gets Back In The Ice Tub With “Cold As Balls”
Kevin Hart is returning to the ice tub with seven new episodes of “Cold As Balls,” premiering September 20 on Netflix.
The latest installment of the sports comedy interview series was filmed live during Fanatics Fest in New York in August.
Novak Djokovic has joined the guest lineup alongside Serena Williams, Rob Gronkowski, Cooper Flagg, Sean O’Malley, Zlatan Ibrahimović and IShowSpeed.
Marcello Hernández will also make a special appearance, becoming the first non-athlete invited into the tub.
Hosted by Hart, “Cold As Balls” places athletes and other notable guests in ice tubs for conversations combining sports, comedy and personal stories.

Max Verstappen Takes On 100 Drivers In “Max vs 100”
Disney+ and ESPN are joining forces with Red Bull for “Max vs 100,” a new motorsport event that will stream live globally on September 16.
Four-time Formula 1 World Champion and Red Bull athlete Max Verstappen will attempt to overtake 100 drivers during the event.
“Max vs 100” will stream live on ESPN on Disney+ as part of customers’ existing subscriptions. In the United States, the race will also stream live through the ESPN App for ESPN Unlimited subscribers.
ESPN2 will air the event on delay later that day.
