Daytime Beauty Awards to honor Mckenzie Westmore

The 8th Annual Daytime Beauty Awards (DBA) proudly announces McKenzie Westmore as the recipient of Brand of the Year for Westmore Beauty.

The Daytime Beauty Awards will take place on Wednesday, September 9th, 2026, at The Grand Venue in Los Angeles. The award ceremony luncheon celebrates the science behind beauty, health, and wellness by recognizing excellence in medicine, health and fitness, aesthetics, skincare, color and styling, CBD and cannabis, beauty innovation, and more.

McKenzie Westmore carries forward one of the most influential legacies in beauty. Her great-great-grandfather, George Westmore, established Hollywood’s first hair and makeup department in 1917, launching four generations of artists who would help define the look of film and television. In many ways, the Westmores were the original beauty influencers, earning a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for their extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry.

Today, McKenzie brings that century of artistry and innovation into the modern era through Westmore Beauty. Drawing upon her family’s professional makeup techniques and her own extensive knowledge of cosmetics, the brand bridges Hollywood artistry with everyday beauty through high-performance, transformative formulas designed to deliver visible results. From its bestselling Body Coverage Perfector and 60-Second Eye Effects™ to complexion, body and skincare products, Westmore Beauty combines professional-level performance with skin-loving ingredients and lightweight, wearable formulas.

For the Daytime Beauty Awards, the Westmore legacy is especially meaningful. McKenzie’s father, Academy Award-winning makeup artist Michael Westmore, was the very first recipient of Outstanding Achievement in Special Effects Makeup at the Hollywood Beauty Awards, the DBA’s sister show. Now, a new generation of the Westmore family joins that history as McKenzie Westmore and Westmore Beauty are honored as the 2026 Daytime Beauty Awards Brand of the Year.

Past Brand of the Year honorees include Cindy Crawford (Meaningful Beauty), Gabrielle Union and Larry Sims (Flawless), Revlon and more.

Accomplished actress, businesswoman, philanthropist, and devoted animal advocate Denise Richards will serve as the 2026 Daytime Beauty Awards Ambassador.

Over the years, the Daytime Beauty Awards have honored notable figures including Cindy Crawford, Gabrielle Union, Christie Brinkley, Tommy Chong, and Holly Robinson Peete. Presenters have included Jennifer Lopez, Jay Leno, Melissa McCarthy, Tina Knowles, and Sia, all joining the DBAs in celebrating the innovators and visionaries behind beauty and wellness.

Each year, the Daytime Beauty Awards donates a portion of its proceeds to an animal-focused nonprofit organization. This year’s event will benefit the Los Angeles Mounted Police Foundation, supporting one of the last Mounted Platoons in the nation and its equine officers. The Foundation supports outreach initiatives, including programs serving veterans and the Mini Mounties youth program. Dedicated to public safety, community engagement, and the care of their equine partners, the Mounted Platoon exemplifies the extraordinary bond between humans and animals.
