Singer-songwriter Kelsea Ballerini turned heads at the 2026 Fragrance Foundation Awards in New York City, where she attended and presented while wearing a fresh, radiant makeup look inspired by the effortless glamour of 1990s New York supermodels.
Created by celebrity makeup artist Brittany Leslie using Armani beauty products, the look focused on luminous skin, softly defined features, and understated elegance.
“For Kelsea’s look, I was inspired by the effortless glamour of 90s New York models,” said Leslie. “We wanted fresh, radiant skin, softly defined features, and a natural vibe that still feels incredibly chic.”
To achieve the glowing complexion, Leslie began with Armani beauty Skin Tint, blending shades M2 and M5 for a natural, skin-like finish. She brightened the center of the face and under-eye area with Luminous Silk Concealer in shade 4.5, while shade 6.5 provided additional coverage where needed.
Soft sculpting came courtesy of Luminous Silk Creamy Bronzing Powder in shade 90. Leslie enhanced Kelsea’s glow with Luminous Silk Acqua Highlighter in shade 3, applying it to the tops of the cheekbones to catch the light beautifully. A sweep of Luminous Silk Glow Blush in shade 11 across the apples of the cheeks added warmth and freshness.
For the eyes, Leslie kept the look soft and sophisticated. Eye Tint Long-Lasting Liquid Eyeshadow in shade 25M was blended across the lids and lower lash line for a subtle wash of color. Shade 36M was applied close to the lash line using a micro pencil brush for delicate definition, while shade 45S brightened the inner corners of the eyes. Smooth Silk Eye Pencil was used along the upper and lower waterlines to subtly enhance the eyes without overwhelming the overall look.
To finish, Leslie applied the new Prisma Flash Lip Balm in shade 11 to the center of the lips, delivering a touch of shine and hydration.
The result was a modern take on classic 90s beauty—polished, radiant, and effortlessly glamorous.
