The Rolling Stones Debut “In The Stars” Video From New Album Foreign Tongues

The Rolling Stones have always been considered the greatest Rock & Roll band in the world, even after the Beatles came on the scene.

As songwriters, The Beatles’ John Lennon and Paul McCartney were always the better hit-making pop songwriters.

After more than 60 years Mick Jagger and Keith Richards can still turn out an album of rock & Roll songs worth taking a listen to. Along with longtime band addition guitarist Ronnie Wood; that twosome is still 2 of the best rock & roll guitarists creating some of the best guitar riffs you’ll ever hear.

Although the songs have lost some of the magic their hit catalogue has produced, the “Glimmer Twins,” still know how to craft a rock & roll song. No artist can top the quality of songs they experienced at their peak powers.

But, when you have given birth to “Jumping Jack Flash,” “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction,” “You Can’t Always Get What You Want,”  “Start Me Up” and more, at age 80, they are still in the game on a higher level than most of the up-and comers.

The two tracks, “In The Stars” and “Rough and Twisted,” off of their latest and upcoming album “Foreign Tongues,” deserve a listen if you’re a Stones fan.

“Foreign Tongues,” arriving July 10 from Capitol Records, is a 14 track collection that follows less than three years after the band’s acclaimed, Grammy Award winning “Hackney Diamonds,” which topped charts worldwide and achieved multi platinum success.

The “In The Stars” track was released last week in conjunction with the band’s album announcement and is available digitally alongside the album’s opening track “Rough and Twisted.”
