The Rivals of Amziah King has unveiled its official poster ahead of the film’s theatrical release on August 14, 2026.
Written and directed by Andrew Patterson, the film stars Matthew McConaughey as the charismatic and musically gifted Amziah King, who leads a bluegrass-playing band of misfits while operating the premier honey-making business in rural Oklahoma.
Set deep within the backwoods of the state, the story follows Amziah as he reunites with his estranged foster daughter after her unexpected return. Hoping to rebuild their relationship and create a family business together, Amziah soon faces mounting threats from ruthless rivals determined to destroy everything he has built.
The cast also includes Angelina LookingGlass, Cole Sprouse, Jake Horowitz, Tony Revolori and Kurt Russell.
The film is produced by David Heyman, Teddy Schwarzman, Jeffrey Clifford, Michael Heimler, James Montague and Will Greenfield.
