Therabody is deepening its commitment to science driven beauty with a major leadership appointment. The wellness technology company Therabody has named Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali, widely known as Dr. B, as its first Chief Dermatologist, bringing one of the most recognized voices in modern skincare directly into the brand’s core.
A board certified dermatologist and laser surgeon, Dr. Bhanusali steps into a role that places clinical expertise at the center of Therabody’s product innovation, education, and marketing efforts. His appointment signals a clear direction for the company as it continues to emphasize evidence based development in an increasingly crowded skincare and beauty technology landscape.
In addition to his executive role, Dr. Bhanusali will join Therabody’s Scientific Advisory Board, where he will contribute clinical insight and the latest scientific research to guide the development of consumer facing wellness and beauty technologies. The move reinforces the company’s focus on delivering measurable, proven results supported by credible expert voices.
As an extension of the Therabody team, Dr. Bhanusali will help shape product development, refine how the brand communicates the science behind its technology, and expand its presence within the dermatology and skincare communities. His involvement is expected to strengthen the bridge between clinical dermatology and accessible at home treatments.
The announcement arrives alongside the launch of The G.O.A.T. campaign, short for The Glowiest of All Time, which spotlights the award winning TheraFace Mask Glo. Backed by what the company describes as the largest clinical study conducted on a commercially available LED mask, the campaign features Dr. Bhanusali as the glow coach, demonstrating visible results achieved in just 12 minutes a day.
Beyond Therabody, Dr. Bhanusali has built a formidable reputation across the skincare industry. He has been dubbed the King of Formulation by ELLE and Forbes, and named to Allure’s A List of industry changemakers. He also serves as Dermatologist in Residence for Rhode by Hailey Bieber and is Co Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Elm Biosciences, a science led skincare venture created with Martha Stewart.
His entrepreneurial footprint extends further with the creation of Skin Medicinals, now the largest pharmatech platform in dermatology with more than 25,000 prescribing dermatologists, and AIRE Health, a leading B2B2C skincare platform.
With Dr. Bhanusali now embedded in its leadership and innovation pipeline, Therabody is positioning itself at the intersection of clinical credibility and consumer technology, aiming to redefine how science backed skincare reaches everyday users.
