Salomon and TIPSTER To Debut L.A. FOOD RUN This May

Los Angeles runs on two things: miles and meals.

On May 17, Salomon and TIPSTER fuse the two with the debut of the L.A. FOOD RUN 2026, a social half marathon that turns the city’s most talked-about bites into checkpoints worth chasing.

Following the buzz of New York’s BAKERY RUN—which drew more than 17,000 hopeful entrants—the concept lands in L.A. with a route that flows through Highland Park, Echo Park, Silver Lake, and beyond. This isn’t about clocking a personal best; it’s about tasting your way through what defines Los Angeles right now.

Runners will set off in three paced groups—advanced, intermediate, and beginner—fueling up along the way at a lineup that reads like a greatest-hits list: Quarter Sheets, Courage Bagels, Fondry, Amboy, Two Rose, Found Oyster, Bub & Grandma’s, and Sqirl. Think less finish line, more flavor trail.

What started as a way to explore food through running has grown into a series across New York, Copenhagen, and Amsterdam. In L.A., we’re spotlighting a scene defined by both legacy spots and a new generation pushing it forward,” said Simon Evers, Founder of TIPSTER.

Limited to 100 participants selected via lottery, the L.A. FOOD RUN offers a rare opportunity to experience some of the city’s most sought-after food spots back-to-back, in motion, in a single morning.

“For the last few years, Tipster has helped blend running and local culture in events across New York, Copenhagen, and Amsterdam and we are excited to partner with TIPSTER on their inaugural FOOD RUN in Los Angeles.” said Drew Hartman, Sports & Community Marketing Manager at Salomon. “In addition to enabling movement in LA, we’re also emphatically aligned on connecting runners more deeply to where they live through miles around the city and bites from well known culinary staples.”
