The Hollywood Beauty Awards (HBAs) — returning for its 11th year to spotlight the architects of beauty, from industry veteran artists to red carpet trendsetters — has named Bvlgari Le Gemme Tygar Extrait its 2026 Fragrance of the Year.
The announcement arrives ahead of the black-tie dinner and ceremony held on Friday, April 10th, 2026 at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles. The evening will unfold under the theme “The Beauty of Spring ~ La Beauté du Printemps” — a celebration of renewal, creativity, and artistry in bloom.
The HBAs’ Fragrance of the Year distinction has previously recognized some of the most iconic names in scent, including Clive Christian, Maison Francis Kurkdjian for Baccarat Rouge 540, Ciara and Russell Wilson for their R&C fragrance, the Britney Spears fragrance collection, Paris Hilton for Gold Rush, Dior for Sauvage, and Mugler for Angel Eau de Parfum Standing Star.
The award will be accepted on behalf of Bvlgari by Valentina Columbo, Managing Director of the Perfume Business Unit.
Few houses carry a legacy as luminous as Bvlgari’s. Founded in Rome in 1884 by Greek silversmith Sotirio Bulgari, the maison built its name on the audacity to reimagine luxury — through breathtaking jewellery, precision timepieces, and a spirit that ran from the sun-drenched glamour of the Dolce Vita straight to Hollywood’s golden age.
Perfumery came naturally to a house so fluent in the language of desire. Bvlgari’s first fragrance launch in 1992 announced a new sensibility — one that would grow into one of the most distinctive scent signatures in the world.
Le Gemme Tygar Extrait is the latest — and perhaps most powerful — expression of that vision. Created by Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier, the fragrance takes its inspiration from the Tiger’s Eye gemstone: a talisman of protection, instinct, and golden strength. The Extrait concentration pushes the formula to its richest depth, pairing the brightness of Italian grapefruit with the shadow of dark patchouli and the rare warmth of ambergris. The result is a scent that commands attention and lingers long after the room has emptied.
Lifetime Achievement honorees were previously announced, with winners in nominee categories for Hairstyling, Grooming, Makeup, Styling, and Photography to be revealed on the evening of April 10th.
