At a moment of heightened relevance for independent cinema, Cinépolis and the Sundance Institute announce the third edition of Sundance Film Festival: CDMX 2026, bringing compelling international cinema to Mexico City and creating a dynamic platform for new voices and stories.
The Festival will take place from April 30 to May 3, 2026, with Cinépolis Diana returning as the main venue. Screenings will also take place at Cinépolis Mitikah, Cinépolis Oasis Coyoacán, Cinépolis Plaza Carso y Cinépolis VIP Miyana.

We hope lovers of independent storytelling will join us next month for this third year of Sundance Film Festival: CDMX.”

The 2026 edition will be specially curated by Sundance Film Festival programmers and include a selection of films originally presented at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, as well as special screenings and activities designed to enrich the audience’s in-theater experience.
