Emerging KOKO Productions’ artist Ryan Allay released his debut album Ellipsis on March 18, introducing a sound that moves fluidly between retro soul, R&B, Afrobeat, and global rhythms.
Based in California, Allay builds his music around live instrumentation and layered, multilingual storytelling—singing in English, Fante, French, and Spanish.
Rooted in themes of love, faith, and personal growth, Ellipsis reflects both his cultural influences and his independent creative process. Known for taking a hands-on approach, Allay performs, produces, mixes, and masters his own work, shaping a sound that is both intimate and expansive.
With a growing audience and a consistent run of live performances across Northern California, he recently performed alongside NBC’s The Voice standout Ms. Monet, and has appeared at Sofar Sounds East Bay and Sacramento.
On Thursday, March 26, Allay will make his Los Angeles debut at the Gibson Showroom, where he will introduce new music along with selections from Ellipsis.
Ryan Allay continues to establish himself as a distinct emerging voice.
