Netflix has announced a new half-hour comedy series, A Hundred Percent, bringing together an ensemble cast led by Nick Kroll, Sam Richardson, Jason Mantzoukas, and Vanessa Bayer.
Set inside what the series describes as the “Thought Leader industrial complex,” A Hundred Percent centers on a tight-knit group of friends whose books, podcasts, and meticulously optimized morning routines promise a more perfect life. Off-mic and away from the cameras, however, their personal lives are anything but polished. The comedy explores the contrast between curated self-improvement culture and the messier realities behind it.
The series is created and run by Gabe Liedman, who serves as showrunner, executive producer, and writer. Kroll also executive produces and writes on the project, continuing a creative partnership that dates back to their work on Big Mouth. That long-running animated comedy spanned eight seasons and amassed more than 415 million views across 81 episodes since its debut in 2017.
Additional executive producers include Max Joseph and Alex Plapinger.
In a statement, Liedman shared his enthusiasm for the project, likening his excitement to “doing the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders’ Thunderstruck flawlessly,” adding that the combination of the cast and Netflix made the opportunity especially meaningful. Kroll echoed that energy, noting his excitement to explore a “high-functioning group of friends” navigating their strange and imperfect lives.
A Hundred Percent adds to Netflix’s growing scripted comedy slate, which includes titles such as Nobody Wants This, Running Point, A Man on the Inside, Emily in Paris, Tires, and Survival of the Thickest, with upcoming releases GOLF and Big Mistakes also on the horizon.
