Returning for its 17th season, Ice at Santa Monica turns 5th Street into a frosty escape by the beach starting November 7, 2025. Skaters can glide under the stars surrounded by palm trees and twinkle lights, enjoy rink-side fire pits, and themed skate nights for every mood.

2ND & PCH Tree Lighting & Santa Arrival
The coastal Long Beach destination welcomes the holidays with its 6th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Thursday, November 20, from 5–8 p.m. The 52.5-foot real Christmas tree will shine bright as the tallest in Long Beach. Expect live performances by SZN4 from Building the Band, Santa’s grand arrival, family activities, face painting, and a fireworks finale.
Throughout the season, visitors can enjoy Santa photos, Santa Paws sessions for pets, and Silent Santa experiences for sensory-sensitive guests beginning Friday, November 21.

Venice Winter Fest 2025
The ultimate California-style holiday block party returns November 22, 2025, blending surfside vibes with cozy ski lodge nostalgia. The Venice Winter Fest brings together local artisans, food pop-ups, live music, and brand activations from Waymo, KONA, Milagro Tequila, Hendrick’s Gin, Saje Wellness, and more. Visitors can sip, shop, and celebrate the season by the sea as Venice closes out the year with its most festive event yet.
