I’m usually not too fond of remakes, but when I saw that Jack Black and Paul Rudd were leading the new Anaconda, I was immediately sold. Staying true to the original, the film blends jump scares with just the right dose of humor to ease the tension. For fans of the 1997 classic who might be skeptical, rest assured — you won’t be disappointed. It’s funny, campy, and still loyal to the story that made Anaconda a cult favorite. Set to release on Christmas Day, it feels like it should’ve been a summer smasher!
