PetSmart is putting playtime in the spotlight with the launch of its Chief Toy Tester contest — and two lucky pets are about to land a dream job. One cat and one dog (along with their humans) will be selected to test and review the latest toys and treats, share their feedback on upcoming collections and receive $10,000 for their efforts.
Now through November 6, 2025, pet parents can apply at PetSmartChiefToyTester.com. The chosen Chief Toy Testers will enjoy quarterly packages filled with the newest toys, treats, apparel and gear, plus VIPP (Very Important Pet Parent) status — the highest tier in the Treats Rewards loyalty program. Over their one-year term, the furry ambassadors will share their official feedback on social media, helping other pets discover the season’s must-have items from PetSmart.

How to Apply:
Applications are open through 11:59 p.m. ET on Nov. 6, 2025. Pet parents must submit a 15–30 second video of their cat or dog in action, along with a 200-word review of their pet’s favorite toy. Creativity is key — applicants are encouraged to showcase their pet’s unique personality to stand out.
