As I step further into my cannabis enthusiast journey, this marks my very first time attending MJBizCon. It’s more than just an event; it’s an opportunity to explore the ever-growing business side of cannabis, from cultivation and retail to science, wellness, and beyond.
The cannabis industry itself has experienced a remarkable transformation over the past decade. Once operating in the shadows, it has fought for legitimacy through legalization efforts, advocacy, and scientific research. Today, cannabis stands as one of the fastest-growing sectors, with billions in revenue, cutting-edge technology, and mainstream investment — though not without ongoing challenges. The industry continues to navigate evolving regulations, banking restrictions, and shifting public perception, proving its resilience time and time again.
