Emmy Winner Michelle Stafford To Be Honored For Skin Nation at Daytime Beauty Awards

The Daytime Beauty Awards (DBAs) revealed actress, entrepreneur, and three-time Emmy Award winner Michelle Stafford as the 2025 recipient of Outstanding Achievement in Skincare for her trailblazing work with Skin Nation.

The DBAs announced that legendary 5-time Golden Globe winner and 2-time Academy Award nominated actress and singer Ann-Margret will serve as the Ambassador for the 7th Daytime Beauty Awards. The show will take place on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Grand Venue in Los Angeles.

Past Skincare honorees include: Kate Somerville, Molly Sims for YSE Beauty, Hillary Peterson for True Botanicals and more.

For decades, Michelle Stafford has captivated audiences as the fiery and unforgettable Phyllis Summers on The Young and the Restless

Her journey into skincare was deeply personal. After her sister’s stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis, Stafford began investigating the toxic ingredients commonly found in everyday products. Determined to build something better, she founded Skin Nation, a plant-based, cruelty-free, organic skincare line created in collaboration with a chemist. The collection of cleansers, serums, moisturizers, and treatments offers non-toxic formulas that nourish, protect, and restore—safe for all ages, genders, and skin tones.

Her career spans numerous television series and films including Double Jeopardy with Ashley Judd to Durant’s Never Closes with Tom Sizemore. Beyond acting and entrepreneurship, Stafford has showcased her creative talents across multiple platforms. In the digital space, she created, executive produced, and starred in The Stafford Project, praised by Entertainment Weekly as “hilarious” and named by TV Guide as “the web series to watch.” She also wrote, directed, and co-starred with her daughter in Nickelodeon’s Secret Mind of a Single Mom. On stage, her work in The Heartbeats in Waltz Time and Savage in Limbo, both directed by Tony Award winner Charles Durning, earned critical acclaim from The Los Angeles Times, which declared her “the sensational Michelle Stafford.” A passionate sports fan, she also served as Fox Sports’ “Best Damn Stanley Cup” correspondent on Best Damn Sports Show Period.

Today, as founder and CEO of Skin Nation, Stafford continues her mission to provide clean, effective skincare for all. Balancing her role on The Young and the Restless with life as a devoted single mother, she lives in Los Angeles with her two children, Natalia and Jameson.
