Santa Monica Place to Host Vibrant Pride Celebration on June 21

As part of the citywide SaMo Pride festivities, Santa Monica Place invites the community to its annual Pride celebration on Saturday, June 21, from 12 to 4 p.m. in Center Plaza. This lively, all-ages event promises a colorful afternoon of entertainment, activities, and celebration of love and inclusivity.

This year’s event features the Pride Disco and Kid Zone, a vibrant space designed for families and guests of all ages. The Kid Zone will offer inclusive craft activities in partnership with Cayton Children’s Museum, face painting, giveaways, and more. One of the event’s highlights is a Silent Disco, with a suggested donation of $5. All proceeds from the disco will benefit the Los Angeles LGBT Center, the world’s largest LGBTQ+ organization, supporting vital services and resources for the community.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, the event will showcase pop-up performances by roller skaters and dancers, and attendees can snap memorable photos at selfie-ready installations, including the striking Lanterns of Love hanging above Center Plaza.

The celebration is free and open to the public, with RSVPs encouraged via Eventbrite. Those interested in participating in the Silent Disco are encouraged to make the suggested donation.
