Honda Joins LA28 as Founding and Official Automotive Partner

Honda has been announced as a Founding Partner of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Official Automotive Partner of Team USA, supporting athletes at both LA28 and the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games.

As part of the partnership, Honda will provide a fleet of accessible and electrified vehicles to support mobility during the Games. This includes the upcoming Honda 0 Series, Acura ZDX, motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, Motocompacto e-scooters, and marine engines. Honda and Acura vehicles will also serve as official pace vehicles for LA28 endurance events.

The announcement was made during a ceremony at American Honda’s headquarters in Torrance, California, where American Honda President & CEO Kazuhiro Takizawa was joined by LA28 Chairperson Casey Wasserman, LA28 CEO Reynold Hoover, USOPC CEO Sarah Hirshland, and Olympians and Paralympians including Misty May-Treanor, Sara Hughes, and Susannah Scaroni.

Honda has committed $1 million over four years to support organizations aligned with the Olympic and Paralympic spirit, in addition to more than $16 million pledged this year to education, mobility, and community initiatives through the Honda USA Foundation.

The partnership continues Honda’s decades-long presence in Los Angeles, where it established U.S. operations in 1959. It also extends Honda’s legacy of supporting athletes, including sponsoring Paralympian Susannah Scaroni—who medaled in four track & field events at Paris 2024—and nearly 40 years of supporting the Collegiate Women Sports Awards and the Honda Cup.

Looking ahead, Honda will also collaborate with NBCUniversal to feature prominently across media coverage for Milano Cortina 2026 and LA28.
