Ari Aster’s upcoming film Eddington is a contemporary Western black comedy set during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The film stars Joaquin Phoenix as Sheriff Joe Cross and Pedro Pascal as Mayor Ted Garcia, whose escalating conflict ignites tensions in the fictional town of Eddington, New Mexico.
Eddington is scheduled to premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival on May 16 and will be released in U.S. theaters on July 18.
