But how will they squeeze into the busy January-March awards season calendar?
Variety broke the exclusive news that vendors for the 75th Primetime Emmys were told that the ceremony will not air on September 18th.
For now, the TV Academy and Fox have kept the telecast’s originally scheduled Sept. 18 date as a placeholder.
The issue is that actors and writers cannot campaign for their series due to the historical SAG-AFTRA and WGA double-strike. The Creative Arts Emmys originally slated to take place on Sept. 9 and Sept. 10 have also been postponed.
Rumor has it that the Emmys will push to January. Here’s the 2023-2024 award season slate as of now:
