Gua Sha’s use has skyrocketed in the beauty industry. It is an ancient Chinese medicine to increase the skin’s circulation.

Ayurveda is an ancient method that treats skin issues such as acne, rosacea, eczema, redness and dryness.

One reason fasting may have come out on top is due to the benefits for metabolic health and it can reduce oxidative stress and inflammation.

The data also revealed Canada as the nation searching for alternative medication the most, with the UK and US just behind.

When it comes to the UK, Bristol was crowned the city where alternative medicines are most common with 3,467 searches per 10,000 people.
