Golden State Warriors & Boston Celtics Set For NBA Finals

The Golden State Warriors punched their ticket to the NBA Finals last week by defeating the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals 4 games to 2. And the Boston Celtics‘ Game 7 victory over the Miami Heat on Sunday, gives them the opportunity to compete for an  NBA championship beginning with Game 1 this Thursday in San Francisco.

The Warriors are making their 6th appearance in the NBA Finals in the last 8 years. The “Splash Brothers,” featuring Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, along with Draymond Green, Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney are looking for the franchise’s 6th championship. Meanwhile, the Celtics who have not made a finals appearance since 2010, have a young and talented squad led by Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Derrick White, Al Horford, and Defensive Player of the Year Marcus Smart. This should turn out to be a great series.
