New Music Friday: Icon For Hire, Zoe Wees, Ruel, Lindsey Stirling – Feat: Mako, Riton & Nightcrawlers, Orla Gartland, ATB + Topic +A7S, Public

Modern-rock giants Icon For Hire reveal their latest video “Last One Standing” after premiering with Rock Sound who describe the song as a “a defiant and destructive banger.” This is the latest single taken from their upcoming album "Amorphous" due February 19th.

The official video for Zoe Wees’ new single, “Girls Like Us,” received a YouTube Premiere earlier today. Like the song, the clip sends a message of togetherness and solidarity to girls around the world who are feeling the pressures of society.

Ruel opens up the new year with a video for "Distance" from his latest EP "Bright Lights, Red Eyes," out now via RCA Records. Directed by Grey Ghost (Jeremy Koren), the video masterfully phases through Ruel's mindset as a carousel of the singer showcases his healing process after a broken heart.

Platinum-selling electronic artist, violinist, and multi-talented entertainer Lindsey Stirling and artist, producer, and songwriter Mako have released their new single "Lose You Now" along with an accompanying music video.

Seminal London-based DJ and producer Riton returns in 2021, and this time he teams up with Ivor Novello Award winner and multi-platinum songwriter John Reid, frontman of Scottish house music project Nightcrawlers for the eagerly anticipated new single "Friday". It's a welcomed uplifting club-ready banger bringing much needed feel-good vibes to the New Year featuring internet stars Mufasa and Hypeman.

Fast-rising Dublin singer-songwriter-producer Orla Gartland releases her candid new single "More Like You," a confessional account of reckoning with feelings of insecurity and inferiority, when it feels like being yourself isn't enough.

Legendary German producer/DJ/songwriter ATB teams up with Topic and A7S on “Your Love (9pm)” Working together in a German studio, ATB and Topic flawlessly blended their musical styles to create the track, along with A7S, who finalized the lyrics via video call.

Beautifully escapist but rich in raw emotion, "Splash" is a euphoric portrait of pure infatuation. In bringing the brightly textured song to life, Public collaborated with producer Michel "Lindgren" Schulz (Cheat Codes, Illenium, BTS) and worked from a 2018 voice memo recorded at a moment when the band felt painfully unsure about their future. "We were wearing ourselves thin by touring nonstop, our growth in the industry felt like it was at a standstill, and we didn't quite know how long we could continue to sustain ourselves and our goals without help and guidance," Public recalls.
