Fall Fun Is Back At Big Bear’s Magic Mountain

This fall, The Soaring Eagle, Go-Karts and Miniature Golf at Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain are all bundled together as a package deal suitable for an affordable family outing.

Families have something fun to do in Big Bear this fall no matter what day of the week, because Big Bear's favorite amusement area is open seven days a week. Best of all, the special discounted package includes one round of admission for each of the three attractions (Soaring Eagle, Go-Karts and mini golf) for only $20 per person (a 13% discount). 

The Soaring Eagle is the first and only ride of its kind in California. This dual-seated ride gives guests the sensation of flying high above Big Bear. The Soaring Eagle is an exhilarating amusement-style ride that is 500-feet long with a 100-foot vertical drop. It starts at the base of Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain, and lifts riders backwards to a 70-foot tall launch tower that is situated on a hillside. The ride offers astonishing views of Big Bear Lake and surrounding mountain vistas below. The most exciting part of the ride is when it catapults forward at speeds up to 26 mph, back to the base. Rounding off the attractions that are open daily this fall at Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain is an 18-hole miniature golf course, a fun, oval go-kart track and video arcade. Also, an ice cream bar is on site with 12 flavors to choose from.    

The operating hours for Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain are as follows: The Soaring Eagle ride, Go-Karts and Miniature Golf are open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. midweek and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends. The discounted fall package deal that includes all three attractions is (Soaring Eagle, Go-Karts and mini golf) is $20 per person. Prices are subject to change.

The popular Alpine Slide will open during the fall on weekends only, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. After November 9, the Alpine Slide will open daily for the winter. Snow tubing is another attraction that will become available as weather becomes colder. Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain has ski-resort quality snowmaking systems to assure there is always snow for snow-tubing family fun from November to April.
