General Motors is calling it a transformation for the future. It's quite a transformation alright; the company announced a big layoff transition and the closing of five U.S. facilities.
The sedan business is not going well, so the company will cease production on several models. It's SUV's, hatchbacks and trucks that America wants.
They will end production for the following vehicles in 2019:
- Buick LaCrosse
- Cadillac CT6
- Cadillac XTS
- Chevrolet Cruze
- Chevrolet Impala
- Chevrolet Volt
