Rain clouds didn't keep Angelenos from coming out on June 11th for one of the best and brightest charity events of the season: Super Saturday LA!
For the third year in a row, Rachel Zoe and Rodger Berman with Molly Sims and Scott Stuber returned to transform Santa Monica's Barker Hanger into the 'shopping for a cause' extravaganza, which benefits the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance.
This year was especially unique with QVC Presents Super Saturday Live.
The famous shopping network filmed on site for the first time ever, showcasing the event to more than 106 million homes. QVC Presents SS LIVE has raised more than $10.3m for ovarian cancer research. From delicious food vendors to games, there's something for everyone in the family, whether you're 6 or 60 years-old. Walking around, women donned beautiful crowns made of fresh flowers from bfloral.
Many enjoyed mini-golf and the Chrysler Pacifica exhibit after tasting delicious BHG Catering's French cuisine with a California twist. Del Frisco's Grille served ahi tuna tacos with guacomole that kept you coming back for more! For those craving something a little cheesier, Pink's Hot Dogs served their famous chili cheese dogs. We don't have to tell you that Super Saturday guests gladly waited in line!
Zen Foods showcased their addicting fresh and organic juices and treats. There were plenty of vendors to satisfy the sweet and salty tooth, from Otis Spunkmeyer to Tasti D-Lite, Skinny Pop (corn) and Pop Chips!Through the food vendors and past the fun & games was the star of the show: the Garage Sale Vendors. While some had a more simple setup, the best of the best in resort fashion, Hale Bob truly spiced up their booth with beautiful decor of silk scarves, cloth turbans and fresh flowers. Using the accessory pairing tool, Jewelinx, shoppers could see what their Hale Bob maxi dress or silk top would look like with a statement piece necklace or pair of earrings.LA Gear featured their most colorful light-up kicks that could go perfectly with all of the Yoga/activewear lines: Koral, Yoga Smoga, Wear It To Heart and more. Shoppers were melting for Chinese Laundry's multi-colored strap heels. The shopping and beauty entertainment options were endless, from ColorProof haircare to Serena & Lily, Mary Kay's lip gloss and cotton candy bar, Conair Curl Secrets and braid bar, Casper's nap time on wheels, WEN by Chaz Dean recharge and relaxation hair station, La Roche-Posay healthy skin discovery, N:Philanthropy fashionable lemonade stand and style lounge, etc.
