Erik Soto is a world-renowned makeup artist who celebrates bold self-expression through fearless color and inspiring looks. With six years as lead artist on the Sephora PRO team, Erik led an elite group of the beauty retailer’s most talented makeup artists, and oversaw Sephora’s participation at high-profile events, including New York Fashion Week and the Sundance Film Festival. During this time, Erik also worked closely with Kat Von D on photo and video shoots, where the two quickly became creative collaborators, together producing a spectrum of never-before-seen looks for the brand. In 2014, Erik was officially named Kat Von D Beauty Global Makeup Artist. John Stapleton grew up in Brooklyn, New York. Ever since childhood, special effects and horror movie makeup fascinated John. He eventually stepped into the makeup artist spotlight after meeting jewelry designer Tarina Tarantino. Taking her place at MAC, John joined the team and climbed the ladder. For over eight years, he has served as a Senior MAC Artist, shaping distinctive looks and characters for countless publications from Marie Claire to Elle, Makeup Magazine, Metro and for celebrities including, Kylie Minogue, Joan Jett, Fran Drescher, Allison Janney, Anika Noni Rose, Fergie, Victoria Beckham and Melissa McCarthy. John’s makeup artistry has graced numerous runway shows such as Alexander McQueen, Elie Saab, Missoni and Tommy Hilfiger. Rachel Goodwin has worked as a CHANEL Celebrity Makeup Artist since 2006. Rachel’s keen eye caught the attention of many actresses including Emma Stone, January Jones, Brie Larson, Diane Kruger, Alicia Vikander, and Cindy Crawford, all of whom quickly became dedicated clientele. Her work has been featured in top publications such as Vogue, V Magazine and ELLE, with photographers like Cedric Buchet, Carter Smith and Ben Hassett calling on her unparalleled talent for their biggest shoots. Raised in the San Francisco area, Rachel became fascinated with faces and spent much of her time drawing portraits. She eventually took courses at the acclaimed San Francisco Memorial Opera House, where she realized makeup was her passion. Moving to New York City to pursue her dream, Rachel began working with some of the industry’s best: James Kaliardos, Mark Carrasquillo, and Linda Cantello.
