Estelle To Perform “Empire” Hit “Conqueror” At Selma Anniversary March

Grammy Award-winning artist Estelle’s smash hit song “Conqueror” has skyrocketed even further after her special duet version aired during the March 4th episode of FOX’s Empire. The song is racing up the iTunes charts and is currently Top 3 Overall and #1 on the iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap Chart. Performed by Estelle (who guest starred as Delphine, the newest artist to sign with Empire Entertainment) and Jussie Smollett (who plays Jamal), “Conqueror” is the highest-charting song from Empire to date.
On Sunday, March 8th Estelle will lend her voice to honor those who stood up for freedom and equal rights during Centric’s historic concert celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Selma to Montgomery March live from the foot of the Edmund Pettus Bridge where the march took place. Estelle joins the likes of Aloe Blacc, Angie Stone, Bebe Winans, Eric Benet, India.Aire, Kelly Price, Kirk Franklin, Rick Ross, Tamar Braxton, Tyrese and more, along with original marchers, Harry Belafonte and Peter Yarrow. Tune into the live stream on and March 8 from 5pm – 8pm EST. Hosted by AJ Calloway, the concert “Centric Salutes Selma,” will air on Centric and BET March 13 at 8pm EST.
