SNL Comedy Great Jan Hooks Dies At 57

Jan HooksJan Hooks made her mark on “Saturday Night Live” from 1986 to 1991 portraying hilarious characters such as Candy Sweeney of the Sweeney Sisters with Nora Dunn and cracking audiences up with her celebrity impressions, from Hillary Clinton to Sinead O’Connor.

The actress and comedian has died at the age of 57, according to reports. No details regarding her death are given. 

After leaving “SNL,” Hooks joined the cast of “Designing Women” when Jean Smart left . Later, she had a recurring role on “3rd Rock from the Sun” and guest-starred in “30 Rock.”
