USA is turning 238 this year and there is no better way to celebrate than watching a spectacular fireworks show! Come the 4th of July, you will have your plans set for Independence Day in LA. Here are the best places to grab a seat under the stars and see the exploding colors in the sky!  

The Queen Mary

Spend your 4th of July by the water on The Queen Mary. Tour the boat, dine on board, and dance the day and night away to live music. Fireworks start at 9PM. Adult – $39.99, Child (ages 4-11) – $19.99

Rose Bowl

Americafest 2014 at the Rose Bowl claims to be the biggest and best fireworks show in Southern California! Food and live entertainment is available throughout the day. The fireworks grand finale kicks off at 9pm produced by PyroSpectaculars by Souza. Tickets: $16.85, Children 5 & under FREE.

Hollywood Bowl

This year you can spend the 4th with Steve Martin at the Hollywood Bowl. Join Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers, featuring Edie Brickell, for a night of their classic hits, plus spectacular fireworks!


At Disneyland, you can have a soundtrack to your fireworks. Salute the stars and stripes as you commemorate Independence Day with this vibrant, inspirational fireworks show. Set to rousing patriotic songs. Visit site for prices and hours.

Huntington Beach

If you were planning on seeing the fireworks show at the beach in Marina Del Rey this year, unfortunately it won’t be taking place. But, good news! Huntington Beach is holding their annual Fireworks display at 9PM. VIP seating for $10 gains you access to the pier.

Studio City Fireworks Festival

On the 4th the CBS Radford studios turns into a funfest with music, food and fireworks. After the BBQ and entertainment, view the fireworks from the rooftop!

Coca-Cola 4th Of July Fest

Enjoy the spectacles of pyrotechnics plus all the rides and sights of Six Flags America at the 2014 Coca-Cola 4th of July Fest. Costi s the price of admission for the parks.

Fireworks Spectacular Over Big Bear Lake

Big Bear Lake’s “Fireworks Spectacular” will explode at 7,000ft reflecting its shower of brilliance over Big Bear Lake on Friday, July 4th. Come attend the biggest 4th of July fireworks display in Southern California.  The fireworks are shot off from a barge on the lake directly off of Pine Knot Landing.  Fireworks begin between 8:45 p.m.-9:15 p.m. Viewable from any of our public parks or from a boat on the lake. Make sure to bring a jacket or blanket.
