Neiman Marcus & CUSP Launch “Make Some Noise” Campaign At SXSW

Today, CUSP by Neiman Marcus announced the launch of “Make Some Noise,” campaign. “Make Some Noise” will kick off in Austin, Texas during SXSW with “Cusp on Rainey Featuring Music by Atlantic Records.” The three-day experience from March 12th through 14th will feature panel discussions and fireside chats with influential women who rock in their respective fields, along with performances from Atlantic artists.

“Realizing there was an opportunity at SXSW for programming specifically catered to women, CUSP by Neiman Marcus wanted to create the ultimate destination for women to meet up with girlfriends, listen to trailblazing women talk about their success, and get loud with the hottest emerging musicians from Atlantic Records,” said Wanda Gierhart, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Neiman Marcus Group, LTD Inc. “We’re thrilled to partner with Atlantic as we saw an amazing opportunity to celebrate women who rock and ‘Make Some Noise’ by showcasing their incredible roster of  musical artists during SXSW.”

Over the three days, leading women will participate in panels and fireside chats including Debbie Harry of Blondie, Olympic track and field Gold Medalist Sanya Richards-Ross, model Cameron Russell, news anchor Nicole Lapin, MAC Presents president Marcie Allen, bestselling author and activist Katherine Schwarzenegger, and Lily Cole, actress and founder of impossible.com. The lineup of artists includes Chromeo, Charli XCX, Cash Cash, Night Terrors of 1927, Meg Myers, ASTR, DJ Louisahhh, Oh Honey, Vance Joy and emmieshouse.

“CUSP on Rainey was the perfect partnership for Atlantic to showcase some of our artists in front of tastemakers at SXSW who pride themselves on being at the forefront of fashion, music and pop culture,” said Jonathan Feldman, Vice President, Brand Partnerships, Atlantic Records. “We’re thrilled to work with the CUSP team to create this must-see event in Austin.”

In addition to the music, panel discussions and fireside chats, women can get inspired by style-ambassadors wearing outfits from prominent CUSP designers, and refresh their SXSW looks with beauty services from Bobbi Brown makeup artists and hand massages provided by Canyon Ranch.
