Steve Nash & Steve Blake Scheduled To Return Tonight Against Minnesota

Injuries have plagued the Lakers for the entire season with Pau Gasol the most recent player to go down, and is reportedly out for up to 2 weeks. However, good news has started to fall the Lakers way. With all three injured point guards participating in practice for the past two days, Steve Nash & Steve Blake will play tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Nash has been out since early November, having only played in six games this season, with nerve irritation stemming from his leg break last season. Blake has been out since early December with a torn ligament in his elbow and Farmar re-injured his torn hamstring in early January after rushing back to help an injury-riddled Lakers squad. With Kendall Marshall the only true healthy point guard on the roster, adding depth to the position will add some much needed stability to the second unit. Whether this changes the Lakers ability to win games, remains to be seen.
