Not a great way to start off the new year for the East Coast – unless of course you’re looking forward to a snow day.
A major snowstorm is on its way and is expected to cover part of the Midwest to the central Appalachians and New England Thursday into Friday. A blizzard will evolve from the storm in parts of the Northeast. The storm should affect 20 states with more than 120 million people in the Midwest and Northeast.
Already airports are being affected with 3,400 delays nationwide and 1,900 flight cancellations.
