The theater world is buzzing today. The 67th annual Tony Award nominations are in. Tom Hanks is up for Best Actor for his portrayal of Daily News Pulitzer winner, Mike McAlary in Nora Ephron’s final play, “Lucky Guy.” As for the other movie stars who moved to Broadway, none were recognized; from Jessica Chastain to Katie Holmes, Alec Baldwin, Jim Parsons, Scarlett Johansson and even Bette Midler. “Kinky Boots,” the musical by Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein has received plenty of nods, 13 to be precise. They were just 2 nominations shy of the record 15 set by “The Producers” and “Billy Elliot.” The Tonys will air from Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 9. Here are the nominees…
