The long awaited Tory Burch store has finally opened at 366 North Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. It is her 4th in the LA area and her 13th store in California. The three-story, 4,700-square-foot was designed by Tory and architect, Daniel Romualdez who has been her collaborator on all her boutiques since the beginning. The grandiose exterior façade with its Chinese Chippendale overtone, has a remarkable brass framing around its doors.
As described by Burch herself, “It is a combination of sophisticated and Bohemian.” Keeping with her tradition, the interior has a residential flair which includes a tasteful mix of brown lacquer walls, sea foam drapes, white coral branch scones, cane tables, and Syrian tile mirrors and much more. It all fits beautifully and comfortably together. In less than 10 years, Tory Burch is referred to as the fashion mogul and the second youngest self-made female billionaire. She has earned a spot as one of Forbes new billionaires bringing $800 million in revenues in 2012.
