Phoenix’s newest remix comes from noise pop duo Sleigh Bells, who have re-imagined the song “Chloroform” from Phoenix’s new album Bankrupt!, out now on Loyaute/Glassnote Records. PRESS HERE to listen to and download the song now!
The “Chloroform (Sleigh Bells remix)” is just one of many interpretations of the incredible songs on Bankrupt!, which has seen remixes by the likes of R. Kelly, A-Trak, Grizzly Bear, Dinosaur Jr.’s J. Mascis, and more throughout 2013. The song is the first time Sleigh Bells have ever remixed another artist, which they did especially for Phoenix. It is also the first Sleigh Bells track to not use guitars.
Phoenix are currently set to play some of the biggest venues in the U.S. this fall, including a special night at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on October 2nd, following brilliant headlining sets at festivals across the globe this summer. Tour dates are below.
