LOVEFiLM, an Amazon company, has announced the launch of Cineflix‘s Emmy-nominated series “Copper” exclusively on the instant streaming service.
Starting this Friday (13th September) members of the film and TV streaming service in the UK can immerse themselves in the first season of the critically-acclaimed raw nineteenth century crime drama for the first time, on demand and all at once.
Starring Tom Weston-Jones (“Spooks”), Kyle Schmid (“Being Human”, “Smallville”), and Anastasia Griffith (“Once Upon a Time”, “Lipstick Jungle”), the show is set in 1860s New York City during the last gasps of the Civil War and follows tough but decent police detective Kevin Corcoran (Weston-Jones), a “copper” who returns from the war to discover that his daughter has been murdered and his wife is missing.
