MTV announced today that superstar, singer-songwriter, producer and actor, Justin Timberlake is set to solidify his musical legacy on MTV and pop culture history with an unforgettable performance as he takes the stage on the 2013 “MTV Video Music Awards” and joins the exclusive list of legendary artists to receive the “Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.”
The 2013 “MTV Video Music Awards” airs LIVE from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on August 25 at 9pm ET/PT.
In celebration of the forthcoming performance and award, MTV Hits, MTV’s 24-hour music channel will feature a one-hour block of Justin Timberlake music videos and performances today at 3pm ET/PT.
