Grammy-nominated international pop sensation (and LATF The Magazine cover girl) Carly Rae Jepsen will close the world famous gay festival, White Party T- Dance, on Sunday, March 31st. Other acts joining Carly on stage include Icona Pop and Carmen Electra. White Party has a history of attracting world class talent each year with past performers and outspoken gay rights advocates such as Lady Gaga, Mary J Blige, Robyn, Ke$ha and Jennifer Lopez.
Jepsen’s announcement to perform at White Party comes on the heels of her recent refusal to play the Boy Scout Jamboree due to the corporation’s anti-gay policies. Jepsen publicly admonished the Scouts’ decision to not allow openly homosexual individuals to join or become troop leaders.
