January 29th: The Perfect Day For New Music

Today seems to be a great time to release a new album, at least according to these three stars. Justin Bieber’s “Believe Acoustic” record comes out, featuring stripped down versions of his hits such as “Boyfriend,” and “Beauty And A Beat” off of his third studio album “Believe.” To the delight of his fans, this record will also include the brand new tracks “Yellow Raincoat” and “I Would.”

As well, international superstar Beyoncé, is reuniting with the rest of the ladies from Destiny’s Child (Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams) to produce their first record since 2004, titled “Destiny’s Child – Love Songs.” This career-spanning collection from the best-selling vocal group is comprised mainly of romantic gems recorded between 1997 and 2004 such as “Killing Time,” “Brown Eyes,” and “Emotion.” To entice buys to see this as more than an expensive playlist, they’re also throwing in a new song, “Nuclear.”

Grammy-nominated bespectacled singer Lisa Loeb, best known for her 1994 hit “Stay” is straying away from refurbishing her old tracks and is instead putting out an entire album of new music with, “No Fairy Tale.” For a two tracks, Loeb has collaborated with indie darlings (and upcoming Coachella musicians) Tegan and Sara, for her first songwriting collaboration. Loeb will be hitting the road once again in March in promotion of her latest (seventh) studio venture.
