The 2026 Academy Museum Gala brought Hollywood’s biggest names to Los Angeles on Saturday, October 17, with red carpet beauty looks ranging from bronzed, glowing skin to sculptural updos and softly smoked eyes. Celebrity hairstylists, makeup artists and groomers shared the products and techniques behind some of the evening’s standout looks.

Vittoria Ceretti’s Bronzed, Glowing Skin

Model Vittoria Ceretti attended the 2026 Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 17. Celebrity makeup artist Leah Darcy used Armani Beauty to create a fresh, radiant complexion with warm peach tones.

“Our inspo for this look was bronzed glowy skin, keeping it clean & simple. We added a peachy warm flush using the new Dolci Makeup Blush in shade #2 & chose a peachy nude lip to compliment the blush,” Darcy explained.

How to Get the Look

Darcy began with Luminous Silk Hydrating & Glow Extending Primer, followed by Luminous Silk Foundation in shade 4.5 and Luminous Silk Concealer in shade 5. She added warmth with Luminous Silk Creamy Bronzing Powder in shade 110 and Luminous Silk Glow Blush in shade 11.

For a peachy flush, Darcy applied the new Dolci Makeup Blush in shade 2. Eye Tint Long Lasting Liquid Eyeshadow in shade 36M and Vertigo Lift Mascara defined the eyes, while Prisma Flash Lip Balm in shade 11 completed the look with a glossy finish.

Kendall Jenner’s Sculptural Updo

Celebrity hairstylist Gregory Russell created Kendall Jenner’s sleek, sculptural French twist using ghd styling tools. Inspired by the elegance of her Valentino gown, Russell wanted a look that felt “timeless and sophisticated, with a modern finish.”

How to Get the Look

Russell began by creating a clean center part on damp hair before blow drying with the ghd Speed Hair Dryer and ghd Ceramic Vented Round Brush to achieve a smooth foundation.

He then used the ghd Chronos Curve Grand Iron to curl the ends, creating the shape and flexibility needed for the French twist. After separating two front sections, he brushed the remaining hair back into a tight, sculptural updo. The front pieces were then smoothed back and incorporated into the twist, with a light mist of hairspray completing the polished finish.
