The 8th Annual Daytime Beauty Awards (DBA) are proud to announce accomplished actress, businesswoman, philanthropist, and devoted animal advocate Denise Richards as its 2026 Ambassador.
A champion for wellness, self-care, and animal rescue, Richards embodies the core values of the Daytime Beauty Awards, which celebrates the science behind beauty, health, and innovation while giving back to causes that improve the lives of both people and animals. Her passion for equine welfare and lifelong commitment to rescue efforts make her a natural choice to represent this year’s event, which will benefit the Los Angeles Mounted Police Foundation, supporting the LAPD Mounted Platoon and its equine officers who bring joy and positive influence to student and veteran programs.
Richards follows in the footsteps of last year’s ambassador, acclaimed actress and humanitarian Ann-Margret, the Academy Award nominee and five-time Golden Globe winner who served as the 2025 Daytime Beauty Awards Ambassador.

A New York Times bestselling author, she is beloved for her iconic roles in Starship Troopers, The World Is Not Enough, and Wild Things, as well as her appearances on The Bold and the Beautiful, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and her Bravo series Denise Richards and Her Wild Things. Most recently, she competed on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test Season 3.
Beyond entertainment, Richards has dedicated much of her career to philanthropy and wellness initiatives. She founded the Quantum Reach Foundation, a nonprofit committed to bringing innovative wellness solutions to help children and animals thrive. Her collaboration with ShoeDazzle to design the “Eloise” heel raised more than $15,000 for the Kidney Cancer Association.
A passionate animal advocate, Richards serves as an Ambassador for Best Friends Animal Society, where she has helped raise awareness for rescue efforts and animal welfare. She has also supported the Will Rogers Institute’s Brave Beginnings campaign, which provides hospitals with essential equipment and critical services for premature babies. Her work in the beauty and wellness space includes partnerships with CB ME Beauty skincare and Volume Extend haircare, reflecting her ongoing commitment to self-care and giving back.

The Daytime Beauty Awards will take place on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at The Grand Venue in Los Angeles.
A luncheon and awards ceremony, the Daytime Beauty Awards honors the science behind beauty, health, and wellness by recognizing excellence in the fields of medicine, health and fitness, aesthetics, skincare, color and styling, CBD and cannabis, beauty innovation, and more.
Over the years, the Daytime Beauty Awards have honored notable figures including Cindy Crawford, Gabrielle Union, Christie Brinkley, Tommy Chong, and Holly Robinson Peete, among many others. Presenters have included Jennifer Lopez, Jay Leno, Melissa McCarthy, Tina Knowles, and Sia, all joining the DBAs in celebrating the innovators and visionaries behind beauty and wellness.
Each year, the Daytime Beauty Awards donates a portion of its proceeds to an animal-focused nonprofit organization. The 2026 beneficiary, the Los Angeles Mounted Police Foundation, provides essential funding for the LAPD Mounted Platoon, one of the last remaining full-time mounted units in the United States.
Dedicated to public safety, community engagement, and the care of their equine partners, the Mounted Platoon exemplifies the extraordinary bond between humans and animals. The Foundation also supports outreach initiatives including programs serving veterans and the Mini Mounties youth program.
