Ariana Grande has officially announced the launch of The Brighter Days Ahead Foundation, a charitable initiative dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities through direct funding, advocacy, and emergency assistance.
The foundation focuses on protecting LGBTQ+ rights, expanding access to mental health care, amplifying underrepresented voices, and providing rapid-response aid during times of crisis. Through four core funding pillars, the organization will support grassroots nonprofits and community-based organizations working on the front lines of social justice and humanitarian efforts.
The announcement comes alongside news that the foundation has expanded support through its Emergency Support Fund to organizations assisting immigrant communities, including Al Otro Lado, Kids In Need of Defense (KIND), Immigrant Defenders Law Center, and This Is About Humanity. The additional funding was shared via the foundation’s social media channels following recent public discussions surrounding the unauthorized use of Grande’s music in a White House TikTok post.
The Brighter Days Ahead Foundation channels resources through four dedicated funds:
Protect & Defend Fund supports organizations advocating for LGBTQ+ rights, civil rights, and reproductive justice. Current grantees include Defending Our Neighbors Fund, Elevated Access, G.L.I.T.S., Lambda Legal, Transgender Law Center, and the Trans Youth Emergency Project.
Heal & Dream Fund focuses on expanding access to mental health services and community support. Organizations receiving grants include Trans Lifeline, Backline, the National Queer & Trans Therapists of Color Network, and Jack.org.
Seen & Celebrated Fund helps elevate LGBTQ+ voices and storytelling through support for organizations such as Gender Liberation Movement, Glisten Rainbow Library, SAGE USA, TransLash, and Transanta.
Emergency Support Fund provides rapid relief during urgent situations and moments of collective need. Recent recipients include Humanity Crew, New York Cares, Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Save the Children UK, This Is About Humanity, and Troop 6000, with the latest expansion adding support for immigrant advocacy and legal assistance organizations.
In a statement announcing the foundation, Grande said:
“I am beyond excited to finally announce the brighter days ahead foundation. Our mission is to support, protect, and provide resources for our vulnerable friends in need. Through four different funds, we will be supporting handfuls of incredible organizations that provide the safe space and care that is desperately needed by so many right now.”
She continued:
“It has been my privilege to be able to support these causes on my own over the years, and I’m grateful to now be able to expand that reach and amplify the life-saving work that these organizations do through the brighter days ahead foundation.”
The launch marks a significant expansion of Grande’s longstanding philanthropic efforts, creating a structured platform to provide ongoing support for organizations focused on equity, inclusion, mental health, and humanitarian aid.
