Global Running Day: Join These Runs, Clubs And Events Around Los Angeles

Whether you’re training for your next marathon, looking to connect with fellow runners, or simply hoping to log a few miles outdoors, Global Running Day on June 3 offers plenty of opportunities throughout Los Angeles and Southern California.

From community run clubs and special meetups to a major marathon training kickoff, runners of all levels can lace up and celebrate the sport alongside thousands of others.

One of the largest celebrations is taking place in Long Beach, where 2XU will launch the 2026 Long Beach Marathon training season with a community event at Sports Basement Long Beach. Open to runners of all levels, the gathering will bring together local athletes, ambassadors and members of the endurance community while also introducing 2XU’s new Kinesis Tight performance apparel. Attendees who RSVP will be entered for a chance to win a pair of the new tights. The event also marks the renewal of 2XU’s title sponsorship of the Long Beach Marathon, which returns October 9-11, 2026. For more information, visit RunLongBeach.com.

The Los Angeles Marathon is also encouraging runners to celebrate by joining one of its many partner run clubs across Southern California.
