Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Dončić was named to the 2025-26 All-NBA First Team, the league announced today. The honor marks Dončić’s sixth career All-NBA First Team selection (2025-26, 2019-24) and his first in a Lakers uniform. He becomes the fifth player in NBA history to earn six first team honors by age 27 or younger and the 22nd player overall to receive six or more first team selections in a career.
Dončić represents the 21st player in Lakers history to earn All-NBA accolades. It also marks the 102nd All-NBA recognition by a Lakers player, the most by any franchise in NBA history.
Dončić led the NBA in scoring for the second time in the past three seasons, averaging 33.5 points across 64 regular season games, the fifth-highest single-season scoring average in Lakers history. Dončić became the 20th player in NBA history to capture multiple scoring titles and just the fifth Laker to accomplish the feat. The 27-year-old also averaged 7.7 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 1.6 steals, becoming only the second player in league history to record three separate seasons averaging at least 30.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 8.0 assists, joining Oscar Robertson. Dončić, who scored in double figures in every appearance in 2025-26, also recorded 34 double-doubles and eight triple-doubles, the fourth-most in the NBA. His 44 games with at least 30 points marked the most by a Lakers player over the past 20 seasons.

He became the only player to earn Western Conference Player of the Month honors twice (January and March) and was named the conference’s player of the week four times.
In a standout month of March where the Lakers went 15-2 overall, Dončić tallied 600 total points (37.5 per game), joining Michael Jordan as the only players in NBA history to reach 600 points in the month of March and one of just 10 players ever to score 600 points in any calendar month. During the stretch, Dončić recorded 13 consecutive 30-point performances, highlighted by seven 40-point games, two 50-point outings and a Lakers career-high 60-point game at Miami.
