These are the nine new cast members joining the upcoming third season of Nobody Wants This, set to return later this year.
Three actors will take on major recurring roles.
Andrew Rannells joins as Sebastien, Joanne’s nemesis in conversion class.
Keyla Monterroso Mejia plays Amber, a single woman in Joanne’s Intro to Judaism class who is determined to find a Jewish husband.
Sarah Silverman appears as Rabbi Eden, a warm and quirky teacher who becomes a supportive presence for both Joanne and Noah.
Additional guest stars include Avan Jogia as Travis, a confident and unbothered personality who enjoys getting under Joanne’s skin, and Erin Foster as Nicole, a chaotic and terminally single woman described as a version of Joanne whose life took a different turn. Poorna Jagannathan portrays Eleanor, Sebastien’s sharp and outspoken aunt, while Sadie Sandler appears as Denise, a young psychic who gives Morgan a reading. Stephanie Koenig takes on the role of Poppy, a sardonic dating app regular, and Steven Weber plays Julian, a grounded and self-assured divorced father.
They join returning series regulars Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons and Jackie Tohn.
The series has continued to build global momentum. Across its first two seasons, the show has spent a combined 12 weeks in Netflix’s Global English TV Top 10, reaching the Top 10 in 89 countries and ranking number one in 43. Following the October 23, 2025 premiere of season two, renewed interest in the central relationship pushed the first season back into the Top 10.
Season two followed agnostic podcast host Joanne and unconventional rabbi Noah as they deepened their relationship despite differences in belief, family dynamics and lifestyle. As they committed to building a life together, the challenge shifted from falling in love to maintaining it in the face of those differences.
The series was created by Erin Foster. Executive producers and showrunners include Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan, alongside Foster, Kristen Bell, Sara Foster, Nora Silver, Steven Levitan, Danielle Stokdyk and Jeff Morton, with Oly Obst executive producing for 3 Arts. The series is produced by 20th Television.
